Food Insecurity Trends
2017 - 2022
Prior to the Covid Pandemic, in 2017-2018, the Food Bank Coalition assisted nearly 420,000 individuals and over 144,000 households in Snohomish County.
By 2021-2022 the Food Bank Coalition has assisted nearly 654,000 individuals and close to 200,000 households.

Over the last five years 19 - 54 year olds in Snohomish County were the most impacted by food insecurity, followed by 3 - 18 year olds, those 55 years and older and infants 0 - 2 years of age.
The Coalition increased food distribution from 11,393,233 million pounds in 2017 - 2018 to 15,408,778 million pounds in 2021 - 2022.
